The Book of Eli

Just came back from seeing The Book of Eli with Chidi...

This movie is shot extremely well....Of course, I must admit that I am partial to black and white..

The story of Eli is well thought out,in that it reaches a younger audience, as the significance of youth is it played out in the movie. Eli is untouchable because he steps with faith. Given all the souless movies out there and all the heartbreak and terror in the world, it's nice to have faith confirmed...even if it's through a movie. Hollywood's release, could not have come at a better time.

The acting was appropriate for the movie..I especially like the blind woman....And the little child shall lead them... Nice!I have to admit that the nemesis in story reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode... YOU"LL figure out which one...

I like the overall flow of the movie... it kept my attention..and frankly, since I live in California..I am extremely happy to see him head West...lol....So, much for the Bible Belt... Just...kidding_
The visuals were fierce...wow, I can't say enough about how the movie itself was shot... the somber black & white is clearly justified...

I truly recommend this movie... I believe the underlying premise..is clear.
Faith is more than ourselves.

Go see it!

Rush Limbaugh - Slams our President..

Rush stop using this tragedy for ratings.

Without negatives/hatred this show would fail, along with his hair and minor intellect.
Rush, refrain from speaking. The more you speak, the more you attempt to divide.

What has happened in Haiti, can happen in the US. Manhattan is on a fault line and let's not forget California. An earthquake of that magnitude is heart wrenching. Image the trauma ..both physical and mental. Anyone with a fully functional psyche would feel compassionate enough to give.

Rush use your show at this moment to cement the goodness of the human condition. Better yet Rush, why not help a child.

Whether, you like Obama or not... He is acting on behalf of those who understand compassion, fear of lost, and goodness. So, when you slam the president..you clearly slam your listeners and all those who give.

This is neither a Republican or Democratic response...This is clearly a responsibility. It would appear that the only one without compassion, is you.

I understand the concept of playing Devil's Advocate...but...there is a time and place.. And RUSH, this is neither.

Seeing someone with real eyes..as opposed to the perfect world we create in your heads.
No wonder why shrink wrapped people choose to stay inside their heads.

The harsh reality burst in your face like a unexpected snowball.
